Some of the public workshops our local volunteer graduate students lead include professional development and resume building, job searching, finance, English as a second language tutoring, and non heteronormative safe sex classes. We also employ LGBTQ-identified and informed counselors to help individuals find more permanent, safe options for housing and mental health resources, regardless of their situation. They’re also here if anyone just needs someone to listen to their story.
You can donate food, new or clean used clothing, personal hygiene products, and love and support for your community 24/7 at our facility by communicating with our front desk clerk. If you’d like to host a community event that benefits the LGBTQ+ and homeless youth in our area, or you’re interested in teaching a public class or workshop, email or call us using the contact information found below. For our calendar of upcoming events, see our Twitter linked below. We appreciate your service to the community!
