As part of the 2018 Spring Poetry Festival hosted by the RCAH Center for Poetry at Michigan State University, I designed a custom linocut and broadside poster of a poem by one of the featured poets. Leila Chatti's "Upon Realizing There Are Ghosts in the Water" is dramatic and heartbreaking, and I wanted to communicate that sadness and feeling of being lost through a disembodied echo in the waves. 150 copies of this broadside were printed using a 1920s press, and given away at Chatti's reading.
