Jane Congdon: "What Makes a Writer?"

I designed this flyer for an author event hosted by the RCAH Center for Poetry at Michigan State University. In the fall of 2018, Jane Congdon visited to talk about her recently published memoir, as well as discuss how writers can find a beginning for their own memoirs. To express her enthusiasm for travel writing, I chose to use a Creative Commons licensed photo of a mountain landscape, making sure to emphasize the lush grass in the valley by the worn hiking boots.
